Trained Zombies will have the chance to participate in up to 4 short zombie films. Each film is carefully managed by our team of staff. Zombies can be as involved as much as they want to be. Some zombies may just want to moan from the side line, or scream from a car other zombies might want to get into the thick of it. We actively encourage a flair for the creative creatures amongst you.
Zombie training School is a kinetic, full on event there is a risk of slips, trips and falls; customers may have to deal with bloody realistic scenarios. Customers may be subjected to loud noise and dark, confined spaces.
You will need to wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty or damaged and either boots or suitable trainers. Due to the nature of the experience, we recommend bringing spare clothes for the journey home (being a zombie is a messy game!).
Zombie Games 5k Run: Blood, Sweat and Fears.

The Zombie Games blood, sweat and fears 5k charity fun run is South Devon’s scariest run designed to give you a one off experience that you will never forget.

All runners will start with 3 lifebelts and your aim is to prevent our professionally trained, merciless and hungry zombies from pulling them off you and there will also be the added pressure of navigating your way around various obstacles. When you reach the safe zone at the end of the course you will be recognised as either a survivor (with at least one life belt) or infected (no lifebelts). You can attempt to complete the course however you choose, walk, sprint, jog or just let your fear and adrenaline lead the way. You can run alone or if you feel safety in numbers is more appropriate then feel free to sacrifice a friend or two!
The survivors will receive a survivors’ medal, and will have the option of having their picture taken with GO POSE photo booths to take away as memorabilia.
Participants are warned to expect your fair share of frights, surprises, screams and frantic dashes. There may be some trips, slips and bumps as Zombie survival can be a dangerous game…..Only the fittest will survive are you game?

LUSH Cosmetics: review.

Up for review:
Space Girl bath bomb
Angels on bare skin face & body cleanser
Blackberry bath bomb
Catastrophic cosmetics face mask.
Dirty Soap bar.

I have to admit, I am a sucker for LUSH fresh handmade cosmetics and every time I walk past one, my will power is very, very weak.
For a good 3 months, I have been ordering Lush products online and been overly excited about each delivery, to the point where I've waited at the door like an eager Scott Pilgrim. Yes, LUSH cosmetics are on the same level as Ramona Flowers. If you ever want to win a woman's heart, Lush is a good place to start.
I could tell you the history of lush, but like any excited Lush lover, I kind of just want to tell you how amazing these products are, because I'm too excited and eager to wait any longer!

Space Girl Bath Bomb-Price: £2.35.

The Space Girl bath bomb by Lush is one of my favourite bath bombs & is always in my Lush basket. This glittery, Saturn shaped, ball of fun is at an affordable, guilt free price I mean, £3 I can justify on a bath bomb, £4 for something to last a short while, hurts a little. This bath bomb is not pungent in smell, which is why it is one of my favourites.
The fruity fragrances due to the blend of ingredients with citric acid, grapefruit oil and bergamot oil as well as Almond oil, all contain a healthy batch of vitamins, which are great for the skin.
Dropping this Saturn ball into the bath, it quickly fizzes and dissolves, turning the bath a lovely deep violet colour, with a light fragrance. For me this works well, I am not a keen fan of a ball lasting ages in my bath tub, taking over my lovely relaxation space and overpowering smells in the bath often cause me to sneeze a lot. The fact it dissolves quite quickly, leaving me with a violet bath, light smell and time to enjoy my beautiful bubbles, makes it easier to unwind and enjoy the slight glittery effect from the bomb. Space girl is a favourite of mine, mostly because it leaves my skin lightly fragranced, fresh, slightly glittered and smooth.
The Almonds offering essential vitamins the skin needs, such as vitamins A, B and E, which help to improve complexion, retain glow, moisturise deeper and better, soothe skin irritation and inflammation, relieve dry and irritated skin whilst nourishing the skin, making it softer and smoother. Whilst the grapefruit oil contains excellent anti-oxidants, which help protect the body from toxins and oxidants such as premature ageing, degeneration of tissues, macular degeneration and mental and physical sluggishness. Obviously, the bath bomb won't do all this in one use, but it is out of this world.
If you aren't a keen fan of strong smelling bath bombs, very subtle use of glitter and violet baths-this is the bomb for you. A personal favourite!

Angels on Bare Skin-Price £6.75 (per 100g).

Angels on bare skin is exfoliating and yet completely gentle on the skin, I feel it is perfect if you have sensitive skin and smells absolutely divine. Upon receiving all my LUSH cosmetic goodies, I could not wait to try this one, especially after reading all the positive reviews about it online. I soaked my face with some hot water to open the pores, took a tiny bit out of the pot into my hand, then using my fingertips, rubbed gently into the skin in circular motions, before washing off with cold water. The first thing I noticed about the product when I started rubbing it into my skin, was how the sandy, exfoliating texture of the cleanser helped to remove the dead skin and clean my face. At the same time, it felt relaxing, gentle and smooth on the skin, not harsh or harmful. In fact it was such a nice, pleasant feeling on my face, I applied another lot of it before washing it off.
The smell of the product was a strong smell of lavender, which was very relaxing and calming, for both my nose and my skin. After washing it off, the cleanser left my skin feeling soft after the first use and within a few weeks, my skin is a lot clearer, calmer and a lot smoother.
The only problem I found with LUSH cleansers, is they cause quite a mess in my bathroom, they're quite soft and crumbly in texture, so they fall apart fairly easy. Now, my sink is side ways, so me in the bathroom trying to wash my face is a mess anyways and the hot tap doesn't work, so I have a shower type tap instead. The water gets absolutely EVERYWHERE so when trying to apply a cleanser as well, you can only imagine.
Angels on Bare skin has worked wonders at exfoliating and cleansing. It's calming on the skin and has really cleared it up from the countless spots it had previously.
Rating: 3.5-4/5
(only because of the messiness in the bathroom, partly to do with the placing of sink. Partly to do with the crumbles.)

Blackberry Bath Bomb-Price £3.25

The mix of the ingredients in this bad boy are used in aromatherapy to banish depression, anxiety and stress into another dimension and the bath bomb does exactly that.
Upon placing Blackberry Bath Bomb into the bath, it slowly began to dissolve and the smell was relaxing and relieving. How does it work? The Bergamot essential oils components such as Alpha Pinene and Limonene are antidepressant and stimulating. The hormonal impact this oil has on the hormones is what makes it so powerful over the neurological and mental conditions, the oil helps to improve circulation around the body creating a feeling of joy, freshness and energy. Furthermore, the oil assisting with hormonal secretion means the metabolic rates are properly maintained, a.k.a. your body is able to extract energy from food effectively.
The bath turned a gorgeous violet purple colour and the smell was beautiful, my body instantly felt super relaxed almost like I received a massage and it was the most relaxed I felt in a while. It left my skin feeling soft, smelling good and I felt super refreshed afterwards. One of my new favourites!
Rating: 5/5

Catastrophic cosmetics face mask-Price £6.50
The use of blueberries in this face mask means you may literally want to eat your face. The mask offers the same effect as the Angels on bare skin cleanser, calming & relaxing for the skin, working wonders on the face. I have used the face mask 3 times since purchasing, the beauty about these masks coming in a pot, is that you do not have to use the whole packet instantly. The first thing I notice after leaving the face mask in the fridge and taking it out to apply it, is the layer of liquid coming out of the face mask. This is because LUSH's face masks are made from all natural products, so the juices leave the product and need to be mixed in properly before applying to the face. I clean my hands and mix it in as best as possible with my fingers, the face masks from lush are fairly thick but I think this offers good potential for it to last a lot longer, so although you may think £6.50 is a lot for a face mask for how long they last, it is worth every penny.
Catastrophic cosmetics face mask gives off a beautiful smell of blueberries, begins to tingle after 5 minutes of leaving the face mask on, which in my head, means it's working its magic! It should be noted that "all magic comes with a price though dearie" but in this case, Rumpelstiltskin's catch phrase has no meaning here. This face mask offers no down sides, the thickness means its easy to apply without the risk of mess in the bathroom and after use, my skin definitely felt a lot softer, calmer and more relaxed. Furthermore because the mask comes in a pot, it lasts a lot longer and the facials can last to your hearts content... until it runs out.

Dirty Soap Bar-Price £4.10
This minty bar of joy is fabulous. The Dirty Soap bar belongs to the (as named of course-duh!)
Dirty range by LUSH, other Dirty products include Dirty Spring wash shower gel, Dirty solid perfume, Dirty hair cream, Dirty body spray, Dirty shaving cream, Dirty toothy tabs and the Dirty Soap.
Now, these products, as Lush puts it "were designed for men, but loved by all" and I can definitely agree with this statement.
Dirty soap bar has a subtly minty, refreshing smell to it, which reminds me of the clean sea air, walks on the beach and a good, clean, well groomed man, who obviously knows where to shop. The bar is a medium shade of blue, with a hint of sparkle and does not have any packaging, other than the paper bag it is delivered in.
I am not normally a fan of soap bars I will admit it. I only started buying soap bars, when my amazing boyfriend bought me a lovely Strawberry bath gift set from Aroma Bella (Torquay-but they do have a shop online) for Christmas, containing a lovely strawberry, sweet smelling soap bar, which is now all gone.
I have been loving soap bars, more so then shower creams,  ever since which is how this bar of soap wound up in my basket and try list. Dirty Soap bar was rubbed and wetted onto my sponge and scrub stick, lathered all over body and it left my skin feeling refreshed, smooth and instantly clean. I look forward to every single bath or shower even more so, knowing I get to use this product however the shimmery like glow in the bar, does not rub off on your body. But that is ok with me!
Dirty soap is a favourite bar of mine for its refreshing fragrance and the way it soothes, smooths and cleans my skin, leaving it fabulous.

Since when was Social media a form of fact?

Something that is semi-bothering me a little bit is the idea that for anything about our lives to be true, it has to be published on social media.
From moving out, getting into a relationship, whether you got that job, what diet you are on, whether you are doing exercise or not etc. if it's not on a form of social media, you don't have it, aren't doing it or won't be doing it.

Now I won't lie to you, I like sharing things which make me happy or things which I see as an achievement, online on social media networks.
I like to be proud of what I have achieved, bought or done and I like to share it.
So Yes I am very aware that I am a walking, talking hypocrite.
I use social media to procrastinate from what I should be doing 60% of the time.
I know I'm doing it, I don't enjoy doing it, I don't enjoy the fact I feel the need to conform to this "If it isn't online, you're not doing it" ideology because it's not the case. I believe very highly that sometimes, it's nice to have privacy, especially when it comes to things between me and other people.

No, I don't take loads of selfies when I'm out with friends or when I'm with my partner, because I'm too busy enjoying their company, to even think about taking a photograph. It is also partly the fact I am extremely self-conscious and I don't like my photo being taken, if I do have a photograph taken I often pull a face or I'm on my own so I can edit it until all my flaws have disappeared.

Now I'm not saying anyone that takes selfies isn't having a fun time, nor am I saying they don't appreciate the people they are with.

I'm just saying you don't all need to know what people are up to constantly and sometimes it's nice to have private memories with your friends.
Sometimes it's nice to just have time with those people and not share it with everyone else on your social media profile.
Sometimes it's nice to just think "I am the luckiest girl to be surrounded by such amazing people" without having a notification, from someone I barely see, confirm that thought with their like or comment.

Because sometimes, it's nice when it's just me appreciating what I have and enjoying the privacy I have with these people.

Not everything has to be published online for it to be official or for it to mean something, sometimes things can be kept private. The internet is not fact, in fact, half of it is fiction.

Meet my friend Anxi.

I just wanted to write about something a little bit different.

I'd like you to meet my friend Anxi, she's a person who likes to wear a lot of black and if she can she'll dress me up in it too. She likes to ruin parties and social interactions, her favourite hobby is worrying & listening to music.
She has plenty of other friends, in fact she effects 3.3% of children and young adults, 4.7% of UK adults & sometimes she meets her friend Des and they hang out in 9.7% of people. She is a very real person, in many people's heads and in normality, she is a part of everyone but for those 4.7% 3.3% and 9.7% of people, she is paralysing.

Anxi is worse to me when I'm alone, because she knows I have no one around me, to take the attention away from her.
Anxi is very, very loud, she likes to be the centre of attention, she likes to remind you that she's there. Even when you don't want her to be, you're sat minding your own business then, like an unwelcome acquaintance, she sits beside you, put her hands over your mouth and silences you, with her negative "reminders".

She'll shout her taunts at me like a playground bully; she convinces me that my friends and my partner think I'm two-faced, worthless and that they don't want to see me. She'll tell me that the person sat opposite me, is staring at me because they think I'm fat. When I lose the weight, she'll tell me every ones looking at me because I'm too thin, she'll tell me that the message I said to one of my friends, was very bitchy and that they won't reply. She'll tell me that my friends are making up countless excuses because they can't actually stand me. One time, she even convinced me that the reason why it was raining, is because I was bringing mother nature down with me (yes, she even convinced me, the bad weather was my fault).
She won't let me talk openly about her with my friends, family or partner not always. She tells me they won't understand, they'll think I'm crazy and they'll all leave me. She'll tell me that she is the reason they can't stand me, that she is all I have because no one else understands.

These little chants or as she calls it "warnings" often come with unpleasant physical experiences. I can not remember the last time she allowed me to have a decent nights sleep, without circling and over analysing every sentence anyone ever said to me that day. She causes pins and needles as she takes the blood from other areas of my body, to just my legs and arms, ready to "fight or flight." She causes the feelings of nausea or "butterflies" and from carrying all the stresses that come with her chants, she's given me back pains and I can not carry anymore. She's made me exhausted and tired, sometimes I can't even get out of bed. Some days I can barely eat because I feel too sick, other days I want to eat everything because I need the energy. She makes me tearful and irrational, because I can't make sense between what she's saying vs what I know to be the truth.
Anxi's version of the truth, does not fit with mine, she plays everything back in my mind to argue her case, analysing every word, every movement, every message or lack of, to prove that what she says is true, when I know she's lying. This battle with her always makes me exhausted and tearful, sometimes even irritable towards the people I care about, because although I know they didn't mean what they said in the way Anxi interpreted it; Anxi is so loud, I sometimes can't control her and how she makes me think, so I snap at the person in the room and they do not deserve it; they do not deserve me being irritable towards them.

Of course I argue with Anxi, I argue and fight her quite often. I normally shout at her, cry, scream, sometimes I can even pull a laugh her way, because she's so ridiculous in what she is presuming. She thinks she has a "six sense" she thinks she can read peoples minds and predict the future, she keeps thinking everything is always going to have a bad outcome. But I know very well that Anxi is trying to protect me, I also know that in the extreme cases she is wrong and worrying an unhealthy amount.

As much as Anxi has her bad points, she also has her good points. She helps me appreciate small things, because If I can do something, without a fear of Anxi stealing the spot light, it's a whole new breath of fresh air. Sometimes, it can be full on, because it means I want to be around those people or doing that activity all the time, because for the first time in a long time, it's quiet & I'm not arguing with Anxi.
It means when I'm with my mum or little sister, with my friends and we're out dancing, or when I'm waking up next to my partner I can appreciate every second, every minute of those moments, because in those moments, with these people, I'm not anxious or scared anymore.
It means I can appreciate my family, partner and friends because around those people, I feel comfortable, happy and loved. So if I ever give you a random look, a random smile or a random hug; it's because in that moment, I am appreciating all that you are and all that you are doing. Even though it's ridiculously small, it means everything to me.

Anxi makes me aware of how I am towards other people, how I act and how that affects other people. She's made me understand the importance of listening to others, of being there for people, because she's given me an understanding of what it's like to feel hurt and alone.

Anxi has made me appreciate everyone I have in my life, she has made me realise how I should treat them, how to make them feel loved, how to make them feel wanted.
Anxi makes me care about everyone around me, even people who hurt me.

Anxiety made me who I am and as much as she might scare me, paralyse me or try to control me; I have reasons to fight and I will keep fighting. One day, I will walk side by side with Anxiety and she will protect me properly, like a true friend does. This is my friend Anxiety & like any other part of a human being, she is imperfectly perfect...sometimes.

3D Moodstruck Fibre Lash Mascara by Younique. Make up Review.

Younique 3D Fibre Lash Mascara: Review.
[Click to view Bethany's Younique Beauty business page.]

I am normally not a fan of mascara, because my eyelashes inspired the name for a particular band; One direction.
My eyelashes do not know what "Volume" or "up" means, they do however know where "straight forward" is. But with Younique's 3D fibre Lash Mascara, my eyelashes reached new lengths and heights that I never thought, they would ever reach.

I first stumbled across Younique's 3D Moodstruck Fibre lash Mascara, when my friend Bethany became a representative and was doing her online promoting of the products. The results I saw with the mascara, from her very satisfied customers led me to explore a little bit further by looking online at tutorials, reviews etc. and the results were still amazing. As I said, I am not normally one to rave about mascara, after trying so many and only finding a few, which offer the volume and length. Yes, I did try heated curlers, normal eyelash curlers, even blow drying my eyelashes upwards after I applied primer and mascara (not directly putting the hair dryer by my eye obviously! Pain is not my style). It was like trying to shift a wall with my bare hands.

Younique's Fibre Lash Mascara comes in a very nice almost glasses looking case, a set of instructions, the transplanting gel and the natural Green Tea fibres.
The instructions recommend using your favourite or normal mascara first, followed with the application of the transplanting gel, then the fibres and it is very important to seal with the transplanting gel again afterwards, unless fluffy face is what you are going for because fall out will happen. So transplanting gel is important and so is, as I believe you should do with every other mascara (personal belief if you want to stop the appearance of the clump monster) I use an old, clean mascara brush to separate my eyelashes and stop clumps.
The total cost including postage and packaging from my friend Bethany was £25.78, some may say a little bit pricey but for the effects I say it is TOTALLY worth it.
It was also very easy to remove, a couple of wet wipes and the fibres were off my lashes, no black marks, I only applied one coat however, so any more than that I am unsure if that still applies. As you can see from the results, one coat was enough.

Younique's 3D Fibre Lash mascara, is now definitely a favourite make up products of mine. It gave my eyelashes volume, length and just made my eyes pop! The beauty is you can keep applying as much as you want, making them however long you want. The mascara I used as a base was L'o'reals Superstar Mascara, which when I purchased it last week was reduced in Superdrug from £12.99 to £7.99.

I recommend Younique's 3D Moodstruck Fibre Lash Mascara and rate it
5/5
the only down-flaw I personally found of the mascara, is the potential of fall out if you do not apply the transplanting gel.
Thank you very much Bethany, the transaction was quick, straight forward and service was excellent. The product is amazing and definitely a must have in my make up bag.

Turn-ip Around Party: Manifesto 2015.

For many years now, Britain has been run by a number of "Characters", mostly people. How about giving Britain their First ever Vegetable Prime Minister? (All the puns in this manifesto are intended)

We need someone a little bit more GROUNDED? a little less ROOTED to our country's problems? (I'll stop in a minute...actually I won't, sorry not sorry!) I present the short manifesto for our people, fruit and vegetables alike; animals maybe, provided they don't and won't eat him. Also known as the list of promises, we probably won't keep or we might, I'm not sure yet it depends on whether it's ripening season.

Equality

The Turn-ip around Party will stamp out vegetable and fruit discrimination, we will make it known that Mr Turnip can man Mr Turnip if he wants to, Mr Carrot can have relations with Mrs Potato if he wants to, we will fight for an equal Britain.
We will make sure it is known that a Tomato can be whatever fruit/veg he desires, just because they can dress both fruit and veg,  does NOT mean they should be treated differently and put in your fruit bowl. A potato is not necessarily always Irish, a Swede is not always Swedish; it's time we dig out these stereotypes and plant a new, equal hope for Britain.
The Turn-ip around party will TURN-ip Britain on it's head, it will offer a better economy for our farmers and open up local markets, so that sons, daughters, fathers, mothers are reunited at the local store.  Everyone has an equal right to be in this country, if it is where they wish to be, everyone brings forward something new to this place, new ideas and fresh greens are what keep Britain alive. No new ideas, would mean that we wouldn't have even invented the wheel, move forward and welcome all.

Economy
Let's be honest, we don't have enough greens. The Turn-ip around Party will bring Britain into a wealthy future, somehow. But first we're going to talk about where we are going to spend this imaginary money, worry about where it comes from later.

VFHS (Vegetable and Fruit Health Service)

We will expand our health service so that there is more space, more beds, more access to X-rays and scans, we will bring down the age for a Smear test to just 18, we will open up more Dr's Surgeries and Genetically modified vegetable and fruit clinics. We will fund it with the money that we have yet to find!

Greenhouses/Education.

We will grow and expand on our greenhouses, to allow more couples to have young children in a safe and growing environment, where they are nurtured, educated on the importance of photosynthesis and at the caring hands of you Britain.
Without you, we would not be here. I would not be standing here today, making all these promises to you, without your caring green fingers and expert knowledge on what I need to grow and expand.
Now, let me pay back the favour, let me make Britain the best country and garden it could possibly ever be.

We have the vote of Benedict Cabbagepatch, Do we have your patch too?
